JOB TITLE: City in the Community Soccer Coach
REPORTING TO: Manager, Coaching Education and Program Delivery
LOCATION: New York, NY
POSITION OVERVIEW:
New York City Football Clubis looking to hire part-time City in the Community soccer coaches for In/After school, Saturday Night Lights. Coaches will be providing youth soccer training for players of different ages and playing abilities within classes, clinics, schools/community clubs in New York City.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Provide youth soccer coaching for In/After School programs, Community cup, and other CITC clinics. Report attendance, complete program surveys, practice good punctuality and be reliable when traveling to sessions. For more information about our programs, feel free to visit nycfc.com/community/ Here
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Provide youth soccer coaching and program administration (if needed and interested)
REQUIREMENTS/CHARACTERISTICS:
Coaching qualifications (USSF/USC or foreign equivalent preferred)
Coaching/Playing Experience in local youth soccer programs
Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, if necessary
Strong work ethic, team-oriented attitude, and enthusiasm about contributing to the success of the department and club
Must have strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication, organization, and computer skills.
Age 18 or over
Maintain opportunities through CITC pipeline (ie. Coaching, Academy)
Must be available to attend an assessment session. Coaching and Education Lead will determine Date, Time and Location.

COMPENSATION:
This position has a range of $25.00 to $50.00 per hour. Compensation is commensurate with experience and coaching qualification. Final compensation offer amounts are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to demonstrated skill set, years and depth of relevant experience, and some role-dependent factors such as certifications and software expertise. We welcome direct conversations with each candidate about compensation in all our initial calls.
