Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of the NECA AETC, the Evaluation Specialist is responsible for supporting the NECA AETC with a range of tasks, including data collection, management and analysis, and preparation of reports and presentations.
Responsibilities
Program data collection tools in user friendly software for distribution.
Assist with dataset cleaning and data management.
Conduct basic data analyses.
Summarize data in written formats for reports.
Develop PowerPoint presentations.
Create data visualizations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience required
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Public Health
Understanding of public health, preferably including HIV
Knowledge of program evaluation, research methods and/or data science
Experience with data visualization/infographics
Other Requirements
Must successfully complete all online systems training requirements
MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint
Knowledge of data cleaning methods and statistical analyses
Experience in data analysis software, preferably in SPSS
Experience with survey software, preferably Qualtrics
Demonstrated writing skills: reports, presentations, and/or protocols
Excellent attention to detail
Works well as a member of a team
