POSITION SUMMARY
The Training Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the security officer training programs. The role will have overall management responsibilities for all members of the training team.
PAY TRANSPARENCY
Salary Range: $80,000-$105,000
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducting orientation programs, briefings, webinars, and arranging on-the-job training for new hires.
Design instructional evaluation methods.
Develop or assist in the development and validation of tests for measuring proficiency of students.
Measure end results of training programs against objectives.
Provide technical assistance on compliance with client training requirements.
Recommends new curricula, revision or termination of existing curricula, changes in instructional methodology and the use of new audio-visual equipment.
Vast knowledge within Learning Management System (LMS) and serve as LMS manager and administrator.
Create and develop training materials for use with in-person classroom, self-directed, and online trainings.
Coordinate with Program Management Team to interpret and disseminate Customer requirements as outlined in customer provided manuals, policy memos, and transmittals.
Coordinate with Field Management Team to provide Contract and Employee Investigators with guidance on investigative and formatting requirements.
Identifying future training needs and creating a curriculum to facilitate that training as well as designing support materials, presentations, reference guides, etc.
Remain current on new learning and other industry approaches to remain at the forefront of adult learning theory.
Provide recommendations to enhance the learning and development function.
Closely work with Cost & Quality team to conduct root cause and error analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of five (5) years of recent training manager experience in civilian community law enforcement, military service law enforcement, or commercial/industrial security force service.
U.S. Citizen.
At least 18 years of age.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Ability to plan, manage time, and multitask effectively.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Good collaboration and teamwork skills.
Experience evaluating learning programs and materials to ensure client and learner needs are met.
Experience applying learning outcome data and student feedback to make. changes/improvements to training courses and programs.
High reasoning skills, including ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in oral, written, diagram, or schedule form.
Familiarity with MS Teams, to include running virtual meetings, training webinars, creating/deploying surveys, and other MS Teams functionalities.
High language skills, including ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to present information in an effective manner to senior management.
High computer skills and ability to work in a MS Windows based operating environment, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Forms, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet and E-mail.

WORKING CONDITIONS
The position may require extensive sitting, watching monitors, walking around the facility outside in rain, wind or other poor weather conditions and kneeling and stooping to look under or inside vehicles or containers.
