Coordinate and proctor all special exam administrations.
Confirm exam details.
Obtain exams from professor, ensure exam security,
Administer the exam with special accommodations of technology, time and space,
Frequent coordination with Dean’s offices, students and professors
Check for breaches of test security before, during and after exam
Assist in clarifying test instructions for candidates
Responsible for the protection of highly confidential and private documents by maintaining student records, inventory, logs and testing files
Help ensure the University’s compliance with ADA regulations as determined by the supervisor
High school diploma required and a minimum of 1 year experience
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Demonstrated technology skills (Microsoft Office, typing)
Skills and Competencies
Excellent time management and organization skills are required
Ability to communicate effectively and deal directly with individuals and groups, both internal and external to the university, exercising good judgement
Good interpersonal skills, including ability to remain calm when dealing with situations which may involve dissatisfied students
The Exam Proctor will coordinate and proctor all examinations which require special administration to accommodate a student’s disability. The Proctor will also offer administrative support for the offices of disability services and academic support.
