$15.00 – $16.50 an hour
*****Please note: TRS is currently working remotely; however, this may change during the length of the internship based on the City of NY directives. As such, the candidate will need to commute to lower Manhattan for the remainder of the internship.*****

* Work across units to identify Level 1 (L1) roles, tasks and activities.
* Document the L1 activities in sufficient detail to enable cross training
* Identify tools, access permissions and other requirements for L1 task assignment
* Identify duplicated/redundant activity between units
* Provide recommendations of tasks to be moved and removed
Minimum Qual Requirements
As of June of the Program year the prospective interne must be a student matriculated in a college or be a recent college graduate (winter/spring term of the Program year).
NOTE: Appointment to this title is only valid for the duration of the Program, June – August each year.
Ability to coordinate and communicate across IT department units
Ability to understand technical details sufficient to document and explain in non technical terms
Ability to analyze and prepare documents, reports, and correspondence
Ability to learn new tools (application monitoring)
Ability to communicate roadblocks and mitigate risks accordingly
Ability to prioritize, handling multiple responsibilities
Additional requirements while working remotely:
Must have a working desktop/laptop with updated anti-virus & internet security software
Must have either a smart phone with a working camera or webcam on desktop/laptop
Must have access to a reliable internet connection, (USB connection preferred, but not required)
Quiet working area away from distractions
Capacity to read, understand, as well as follow oral and written guidelines
Must be able to work independently or with small groups to get work/projects done
Ability to acquire the skills to successfully work from home as needed
