Full Job Description
Riverdale seeks an experienced debate coach to develop and strengthen our fast-growing debate program. The Assistant Director of Debate position will assist with overseeing the Upper School/Middle School debate program and work in collaboration with faculty members and school administrators. The position reports to the Director of Debate. Currently, approximately 90 students in grades 6-12 compete in Public Forum debate at local and national tournaments. The debate program is financially stable and has strong support from the administration.
A successful candidate will have experience coaching Public Forum and will be prepared to introduce new formats of competitive debate, including Policy, Lincoln Douglas, and/or World Schools Debate.
