Overview
Hebrew Home at Riverdale is part of a group of long-term care affiliates under the brand name of RiverSpring Living. RiverSpring Living provides a full range of care solutions including nursing home care, managed long-term care, assisted living programs, senior housing, rehabilitation services and specialized services such as elder abuse prevention and memory care. Collectively, RiverSpring Living empowers over 18,000 patients, residents and members to live forward every day. Hebrew Home at Riverdale is looking for a full time Maintenance Man.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include performing a variety of general mechanical and preventative maintenance assignments, as well as inspections, repairs, servicing and overhauling of equipment including wheelchairs and walkers. Will make repairs and maintain furniture and equipment using hand and power tools as assigned as well as repairing and installing electrical systems, pipes, fittings and plumbing fixtures. Potential candidate will also maintain, repair and install commercial kitchen equipment.
Qualifications
High School or GED; trade or vocational school graduate or equivalent education & experience. Experience in facility maintenance and familiarity with federal, state and local codes and regulations a plus. Valid driver’s license required. Must be able to read, write and effectively communicate in English and the ability to effectively present and receive information from residents, families and staff.
