Full Job Description
This position will provide overall assistance to the Community Pediatric Programs. This includes: providing assistance to patients to facilitate/schedule appointments/referrals/missed appointment letters/cards, etc., and appointment reminders, interacting with families, assisting patients with sub-specialty appointments, recording relevant progress notes, arranging transportation, following-up on outreach activities to ensure compliance. This position will also : (1) provide all outreach duties for New Access Points Initiative (NAP); (2) patient registration utilizing various MMC’s databases; (3) collect information required for the billing process/registration; (4) perform appointment reminder calls; (5) verification of patient insurance status; and (6) forwarding medical record requests to other agencies. Will perform other clerical related duties as required to maintain efficient and effective operations of CPP.

 

Education

Associate’s Degree preferred

High School Diploma or GED required

Bilingual English/ Spanish required

 

Length of work experience required 1 year
