Salary: 22.23 per hour

Job Description

You will be working with adults with autism in a residential setting.

The Assistant Resident Manager’s role is to manage the residence under the direction of the Residential Manager, ensuring the smooth operations and effective health and safety of the individuals residing within the residence. Duties involve supervising the Direct Support Professionals and direct their activities to include teaching daily living skills, manage challenging behavior, and provide recreational opportunities and a clean environment. Assist in the planning of activities of the Direct Support Professionals through floor, task or activity assignment to include but not limited to cleaning, recreation, cooking, driving, and medication administration.

Qualifications:

High School Degree or equivalent (required)
Comfortable with daily use of technology including: typing, data entry, email communication with families and medical professionals.
Comfortable driving 15 passenger van
Minimum of 3 years experience in an environment with persons with intellectual & developmental disabilities
Prior supervisor experience, preferred
Valid unrestricted NYS Driver’s License, to agency standard
Ability to travel and transport individuals
