Job Description
Position Objective:
Under direct supervision, performs responsible work in the maintenance operation of various locations within the Bronx Zoo. Perform related functions elsewhere.
Principal Responsibilities:
Under general supervision and/or following procedures and/or routines assists in the maintenance, repair, renovation, alteration of property, exhibits buildings, enclosures, paths, benches, sidewalks, trees, plants, lawns, equipment, structures, and other facilities through utilization of all skills necessary to perform said assignments.
Qualification Requirements
High School Graduate
Valid New York State Driver’s License ‘
Must work weekends and Holidays
Other Requirements:
Must be able to work Saturdays, Sundays, and all Holidays.
Must be able to work Overtime if required by supervisor
